Jason seems to have recovered from last years issues. He’s seeing more P/PA and hitting more FB than last year. Also he is approaching his 2006 levels of HR/FB which is what we expected last year. I’m not sure if the Pirates will trade him this year, but even if he doesn’t the Pitt offense has come around lately. The other thing that I like is that his BABIP is not completely out of whack which means that this is easily sustainable.

Kenny is obviously in the twilight of his career and should be traded as soon as possible following his last 2-3 starts. Yes he has turned a little corner but he really won’t help you in many categories now. He’s not striking anyone else and he’s also not really going deep into games. His qERA is at the highest in a long time and his ERA should be almost 1.40 points higher. Also his P/IP is at the highest and is only getting worse. Trade him ASAP.
