Mike has been in a horrendous slump lately but this is the best time to pick him up. His BABIP is ridiculously low and he’s not hitting HR at a pace far over his previous levels of 18 and 23%. While his OBP numbers will drag you down in leagues like use OBP, lately he has been playing basically everyday and will get ok numbers out of the catching slot. Ideally, he’s your #2 catcher at this point but if he gets going, he can be very streaky and you can ride him for a week or two.

I know that most people will not be targeting Jeremy Guthrie in a deal but if you can unload him now while he still has that WHIP and ERA, do it. There is a reason why he’s 2-6 and unfortunately a lot of people might get sucked into that ERA and WHIP. His “ease of outs” % is drastically low those and the WHIP will not be high enough to continue this luck.

As an AJ Burnett owner, there is no way I'd even consider moving AJ for Guthrie. Burnett has pitched very well lately, and the difference in Ks alone wouldn't justify the swap.

Absolutely, I'm agreeing with you. I think Guthrie is overrated and would love to get someone like Burnett for Guthrie. Just like you said, Burnett's K's are worth it.

Those were just some sample trades from CBS that I pulled up. But they're indicative of the fact that you could give up someone who is overrated like Guthrie and get someone who isn't like Burnett.
