Matt Capps has been shut down for 2 months and so the Pirates will plan on using Marte as closer. All of his numbers are good overall although I would like to see the PTO% and P/IP a little lower for a closer. Still there isn’t that much opportunity right now to get saves so this may be one of your best bets.

He’s not going to be able to get you much for a one on one trade but he will still help you get great players in return. I don’t like him because of his FIP, PTO%, and K/BB. They just don’t scream out good things to me.
